Research at University of Minnesota

Spring, 2000

Working with Professor J V Carlis on database systems. Continuing work on developing PL/SQL procedures to run graph algorithms on relations stored in Oracle tables. Have developed procedures for graph statistics, minimum cost spanning trees, etc. Also worked to convert neural experiment results from a huge set of binary files into an ORACLE database using C and Perl.

Fall, 1999

Worked with Professor J V Carlis on database systems. Initially revived an old TCL/TK script for image montaging. During the latter part of the semester, worked on developing PL/SQL procedures to run graph algorithms like Breadth First Search on relations stored in Oracle tables. This work will be used further in other applications like the genome and chimp databases being studied at the department.

July 1, 1998 to August 4, 1999

Worked at SIEMENS Communication Software, Bangalore on the development of CENTREX MANAGER, a Telecommunication Network Management application. Designed and developed critical components of the GUI including the state-of-the-art main window for the application and several data entry forms and the associated parsing and processing.
